Visual Comfort Modern (formerly Tech Lighting) Tegel 12 Outdoor Wall
Designed by Sean Lavin for Visual Comfort Modern — formerly Tech Lighting — the Tegel 12 Outdoor Wall (700OWTEG12) is a compact, architectural LED sconce built for exterior walls, columns, entries, and garages. Its slim rectilinear housing reads as a clean vertical accent by day and resolves into a precise wash of light after dark, making it equally at home flanking a front door, lining a walkway wall, or marking a garage bay.
Each Tegel 12 is fully configurable at the point of order: choose a light direction of Downlight-only or Uplight + Downlight, then a beam spread of 10° for a tight, focused pool of light or 36° for a broader wash (Uplight + Downlight models can also mix a 10° up beam with a 36° down beam). Add Surge Protection for properties prone to power fluctuations, or a Button Photocontrol for automatic dusk-to-dawn operation — both are available as factory-installed options, including together on select configurations. The die-cast aluminum housing is fully sealed and IP65 wet-rated for direct exposure to rain and moisture, with impact-resistant, UV-stabilized acrylic lensing and stainless steel hardware for long-term durability outdoors. Tegel is also offered in an 18" version (700OWTEG18) for larger-scale applications.
