A 48" bar just 1.5" wide and 1.3" deep — about as minimal as a linear suspension gets. Suspended over an island or a long table it reads as a single drawn line of light with no visible housing bulk, which is exactly the point of the Dessau language.

Its best feature is selectable colour temperature: a switch on the fixture sets 2700K or 3000K. That means you can match it to existing lamping in the room after installation rather than guessing from a catalogue — genuinely useful when the rest of a kitchen is already lit and you want the new pendant to blend rather than announce itself. 36.2W, 2,261 lumens, 90 CRI.

The drop range is exceptional: 12" to 144", with 120" of wire supplied. It will hang tight to a low ceiling or drop twelve feet into a stairwell from the same box.

Two finishes: Nightshade Black (700LSDES48B-LED92730) and Hand Rubbed Antique Brass (700LSDES48NB-LED92730). Dessau also includes picture lights in five sizes, table lamps and floor lamps.
