Hinkley Manhattan Outdoor Hanging Light

Manhattan reworks the classic train station lantern with cleaner lines and a sturdy die-cast aluminum body. The 2232 and 2322 hanging lanterns share the same medium frame, finished by hand in Oil Rubbed Bronze, and differ only in glass: clear beveled panels for a crisp, sparkling look, or etched seedy glass that softens the bulb and adds vintage character.

This is a natural choice for a covered front porch, a breezeway or the ceiling over a back entry, especially on Craftsman, bungalow and farmhouse homes. A single medium-base LED lamp, up to a 100 watt equivalent, provides ample light for steps and doorways.

The hanging lanterns are damp rated, so plan to install them under a roof or overhang where they are protected from direct rain. The canopy accommodates a sloped ceiling, which makes them easy to use on angled porch ceilings.
