Hinkley Accent Pond Light

The Hinkley 1539 is a submersible accent light built from solid brass, designed to sit underwater in a pond, fountain or water feature and light it from below. Brass is the preferred metal for wet and buried installations because it does not rust, and it develops a natural patina that blends into stone and plantings over time.

The fixture measures 5 inches across and takes an 8-watt MR16 LED lamp, roughly equal to a 50-watt halogen. Use it to uplight a waterfall, glow through moving water, or highlight aquatic plants and surrounding rockwork.

This is a 12V low-voltage fixture, so it must be powered by a low-voltage landscape transformer, not connected directly to household current. Wet rated. Low-voltage systems use less energy, and they can be controlled remotely with the Hinkley Home Automation App.
