Hinkley Augusta Outdoor Hanging Light

The Hinkley Augusta 2452 is a formal hanging lantern made the old-fashioned way, in solid brass. Its clear glass is bent, beveled and bound into the frame, catching light at every edge, and decorative scrolls can be removed for a simpler look.

At about 13 inches wide and 27.5 inches tall, it has the scale for a covered front porch, a portico or a tall entry vestibule. The fixture is damp rated, so it should be installed under a roof, and it can be hung from a sloped ceiling.

Augusta is finished in Copper Bronze, a warm, deep tone that suits brick Georgians and traditional colonials. Solid brass will not rust, and it is heavier and more substantial than cast aluminum. Three candelabra sockets provide a soft, even glow, and matching wall and post lanterns are available.
