Max pairs a hand-welded aluminum frame with clear glass panels for a lantern that feels modern without losing its classic shape. The pier mount versions come in two forms: the 28857, a taller medium lantern about 17 inches high, and the 28858, a low, wide lantern that sits close to the pier cap. Both are offered in Black and Burnished Bronze.

Place them on stone or brick piers at the entrance to a driveway, on low garden walls or on deck posts. The standard versions use medium-base LED lamps up to a 60 watt equivalent.

Each model is also available as a 12V low voltage version with its LED lamps included, which makes it simple to integrate with landscape lighting; it requires a compatible low voltage transformer. The fixtures are wet rated for fully exposed locations.
