The Hinkley 6808 is an 8-foot surface-mount lamp post in Black with a decorative base. It bolts down to a concrete pad or footing, and a decorative flange cover hides the anchor bolts for a clean, finished look at the ground.
The extra height and the traditional base give it the presence of a streetlamp, making it a good fit for a driveway entrance, a courtyard, a parking area or the start of a long front walk. Top it with a Hinkley post-mount lantern for a coordinated exterior.
Because it surface mounts, there is no need to bury the post, but you will need a solid, level concrete base and an electrical feed through the center. Aluminum construction will not rust and handles weather and salt. This is an oversized item and ships with an added freight charge. Outdoor finishes carry a 2-year warranty.
