Visual Comfort Modern (formerly Tech Lighting) Kal Picture Light
The Kal Picture Light by Sean Lavin makes its structure part of the design — a smooth cylindrical tube sits atop a rectangular light bar, an industrial pairing dressed up in a choice of modern finishes. Kal runs a 3000K, 90 CRI integrated LED that dims smoothly on most LED-compatible ELV, TRIAC and 0-10V dimmers, so the light over a painting or gallery wall can be tuned rather than left at one fixed level. Models SLPC114 (12"), SLPC115 (18") and SLPC116 (24") share the same design and roughly 8" wall projection.
Kal is offered in three finishes — Nightshade Black, Polished Nickel and Natural Brass — with an acrylic diffuser over an aluminum or brass housing. It is Damp Location rated, so it also suits a covered entry or a bathroom above the vanity mirror.
